Akismet False Positive

After installing a real cool trackback/pingback option into our vbulletin forum software, I set up a Wordpress blog to test it. When it didn't work like I expected, I dug into my WordPress dashboard & found that the Akismet plugin had marked my trackback as spam, a false positive by Akismet on its 1st attempt.

Fortunately, I found some helpful info on getting out of Askimet jail by Kirk Montgomery and his team of monkeys. Hopefully, Kirk's info will prevent our trackbacks from being labeled as Akismet spam.

After I get this figured out, I'll post a full annoucement about the new trackback/pingback feature.
