Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors You are all invited to join me in my 500th post celebration in a few days! It is about 15 posts away and I am starting to plan my own 500-Bash. You really shouldn't bring me any gifts, but you may if you must. So keep that in mind, for in a few days we will hold the jubilation.

There was a time 500 posts was an automatic entry into the Hall of Fame...but in this age of the "quick post"...it now appears that 715 is the magic number... |

Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors Don't worry, I don't want to reach #715. I want to reach #756! I'm going to try to go all the way to stardom. What are the GoTeamsGo standards for the Hall of Fame? I need to refresh my memory with the latest updates (post-Quick "Steroid" Era). I remember back in the day when GoTeamsGo user, HankAaron, climbed to the top of the All-Time posting list. Then he resigned from the GoTeamsGo Fan Forum due to the Copy-Post scandal (where he allegedly copied posts from other users to tally up #755), and the Admin pulled his name off the charts. It was a tragic way to end his historic career.

Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors Trashed, I still can't get it straight. By some of your posts, you sound like a Yankees fan. But then in other posts, you sound like an anti-Yankee. What is your current status?
| |||
Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors Ok well thats an easy one. Im a Yankee fan who is not happy with the the current direction of the team. In other words I dont want to see anymore Tim Raines/Raul Mondesi signings while other teams get Wang, Cano, Cabrerra and other future talent. When rebuilding is necessary, the sooner you start, it the easier it is. In fact if you start say now it would be more of a retooling.

Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors Thanks for clarify that with me, Trashed. I understand where you are coming from since I was through the same situation a few years ago with the Mets. I couldn't stand all those washed-up players the Mets brought in. Does Mo Vaughn, Shawn Estes, and Roberto Alomar ring a bell? Since I know that you are a prime poster of the MLB section of the forum, I would like to inform you that the Administrator is currently working on a new "News-Bot" technology where these robots will bring in the latest MLB news so we can discuss it. This new invention is still on the drawing board for testing, but I will keep you updated.

Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors Thank you and I had a #42 Mo Vaughn Mets jersey great maker help me. Also I think its great about that robot telling us MLB news but my sense of humor is failing me as well as my posting ability because I really liked Craig Ironhead Heyward and just now found out he died. I posted on the Saints thread on it and im glad that pushed it up as I was totally lax in finding out this important piece of sports...no, human info. This a week after it happened. This is what should be posted on ESPN in little boxes, not Bonds hitting homers.

Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors I couldn't agree with you more, Trashed. Craig "Ironhead" Heyward was an inspirational player to everyone, and we are sad to see him go. Bonds isn't not nearly as important as "Ironhead", even though Bonds is an incredible ballplayer with a snotty attitude. I just wanted to mention that I cracked my 600th post a few minutes ago!

Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors I just posted my #700th post a few minutes ago. This means that I am only 55 posts away from tying Henry "Hank" Aaron's record and infinity posts away from Lefty Noob!

Re: MJHMarc Officially Retires after a 2 Day Stunt in the Majors Dear Journal, It is hard to believe the career milestone I just achieved. Henry Aaron was arguably the top members of this forum for the past century, racking up 755 career posts. His legendary number of posts seemed unreachable and as if the record could stand forever. I have just posted my 756th post, passing Henry "Hank" Aaron on the All-Time Posting List. This is a miraculous accomplishment which will be remembered by fans down the road. I will continue to increase my post count, as well as share my feelings about future sports topics with the GoTeamsGo Forum. I have found a home!
