Barry Bonds does have that attitude and I think that that is not a negative for an athlete. Good athletes will get booed on the road and the best ones are able to take those boos and use them to their advantage. Derek Jeter and Barry Bonds are to players who are very good at doing that.

I think that signing that contract, coupled with the move to New York were two of the worst career moves for A-Rod because no matter what he does he will be overpaid. He could hit sixty home runs a year and he would still be overpaid because nobody deserves to get 24 million dollars per year to play baseball. Whatever he does will not be good enough for the New York fans to warrant that kind of money.

I don't think most Yankee fans who boo A-Rod realize that they are only spending I think around $16 for his contract this year and the Rangers make up the rest.
