Jason Giambi is a monster in the American League East.

He hasn't been so hot lately in the past week, but this performance definitely helped his statistics.

Giambi's Number Line: 29 HRs, 80 RBIs.
Giambi's Projected Number Line:49 HRs, 135 RBIs.

That is smoking hot (and MVP potential)!

So out of curiousity, why is Giambi forgiven for steroid use and Bonds is not etc?...

He is batting .252.
He has as much chance of being MVP as I do.

Gotham, Giambi has NOT been forgiven for his steroids use. He was snubbed out of the All Star game ( even though he was in the American League top three for home runs and RBI). And, he has no chance ( he won't even be considered) for the MVP award.

Giambi didn't lie to the grand jury and made an apology before the season to the fans last year, even though he could not elaborate for what.

Re: Giambi HR lifts Yankees to series sweep of Rangers

i think everyone saw the giambi apollogy for what it was, he was saying he was sorry to the fans, and hoped the fans could undrstand if he said what he was sorry for he was risking his contract, and that was good enough for the majority of the fans
