I have to agree with, The Pundit, with this case.

Alex Rodriguez is just too precious to be traded. He has a giant salary, which no other team would match. Atlanta could use a boost, Gotham Dark Knight, but I don't think they can acquire Rodriguez. Steinbrenner has "A-Rod" locked up and won't let him go until he needs to.

I expect Alex Rodriguez to bounce back from his slump sometime in August. This is actually pretty shocking, even though all of Rodriguez's statistics and publicity is maximized because of his history.
