Yankees Prospects

Keep an eye out on these prospects, as they might be in the big leagues in a couple of years.

The first, Philip Hughes, is a righthanded pitcher who went 9-1 in 2005, and he struck out 93 while walking only 20.

The second, Eric Duncan, struggled batting only .235 in (AA), and this year is switching positions from 3B to 1B. Duncan, has a lot of potential, but he has to cut down on the strikeouts, 136 times in 2005.

The third, Jose Tabata, is only 20, but is a good centerfielder with outstanding speed and a decent arm, and has a good stick, as he batted .314 in 2005.

Some other potential prospects are outfielders Austin Jackson, Tim Battle, Brett Gardner and Melky Cabrera. Also, their are infielders Marcos Vechionacci and C.J. Henry. Finally, keep an eye out on Christian Garcia, Jeff Marquez, Tyler Clippard, J. Brent Cox and Steven White.
