Re: Yankees

That's what I've been asking myself since last night....How????

A. KC ( the worst team in baseball) v. NYY (best team in the history of Baseball)

B. Mussina (6-1) v. Elarton? (0-5)

C. Blah offense v. the Juggernaut that is the New York yankees ( with Jeter, Damon, Rodriguez, DP Giambi, Sheffield, etc...)

D. 13-game losing streak (three straight series sweeps) v. NYY

How???????????????????????

Re: Yankees

Angel Berroa exploded last night for a homer, 3 RBIs, a walk and two runs. It was a great game for the young shortstop.

The good news is that the Yankees jumped on top of today's scoreboard with a 13-4 lead over the Royals in the sixth inning. Alex Rodriguez has hit two homeruns thus far and has been a huge source of power for the Yankees this game. Hopefully, Mariano Rivera will get another save on his list.

About time for A-Rod...I needed a big game from the boy on my fantasy team...can't have pujols carry the load...

Re: Yankees

Melky Cabrera misplayed Berroa's ball badly. He should have been in position to make the catch at the top of the wall. I'm not saying he could have caught it, but he turned three different ways as he went back and still got his glove on the ball , he just didn't catch it. That being said, how bad is Kyle farnsworth? The idea that the Yankees solved all their bullpen woes with this guy is ridiculous. Between him and Proctor, you just have to hold your breath.Proctor was doing okay until Manny destroyed his confidence; now he cannot get anyone out when it matters. NY is hoping that Octavio Dotel will be ready by the end of June, and in some way resembling what he used to be.
