Wong looked mediocre again. He's been a disappointment this year. Also, when did the Yankees acquire Terrence Long? I was shocked to see him on the team.

The Yankees signed Long to a minor league contract. he was in Columbus for 4 games. They also have Carlos Pena, the ex-Tiger diown there, he has 6 homers and 15 RBI. They have signed Richard Hidalgo as well and are getting him in shape in Tampa.

How about the Yanks minor league prospects? Melky Cabrerra is not the joke I thought he was. He needs some seasoning but hes a baby and has time. What about some pitching prospects? And please no more Ed Yarnells!

Richard Hidalgo is suppose to be a pretty good slugger. I think he would look nice in center-field. How about you?

Hidalgo's not the answer. In the last half of year with the Mets and his stay with Texas he was terrible. Why don't they bring Pena up? Andy Phillips can't hit. At least Pena has some pop.

Don't look to Columbys for any pitching help. Last night. on the radio, John Sterling and Susan Waldmen suggested the Yanks might be bringing Ramiro Mendoza up from Columbus. Colter Bean, who the Red Sox bombed, is being sent back down.

Oh, no... don't bring up Hidalgo. Phillips is hitting a lot better of late... but if he continues to struggle, call up Pena.

And what exactly do you mean, Wang's... "been a dissapointment this year"??? Are you kidding? That's his first rough start of the year! He's 4 and 2, and has only given up 3 HOME RUNS all year.
