Torii Hunter is rebounding from a horrible start. Ichiro Suzuki is a solid contact hitter and I have mixed opinions about Bobby Abreu. It would take a lot to get Soriano in New York, again.
The only bad thing about getting Griffey Jr. is that he's accident prone. Ichiro is a good choice but Is Seattle willing to let him go?

Soriano is a free agent at the end of the year and will surely not resign with Washington, so he could be had. Put him in the outfield, if you don't give up Cano to get him. I just do not know what they would part with to get anyone worth while, their farm system is so bad.

To get a serious talent such as Soriano or Abreu, the Yanks would almost surely have to trade their top pitching prospect, Philip Hughes along with another prospect and possibly a major league ready player.

id have to say Matsui is worth atleast 4 or 5 wins over the next 3 months

hate to see anyone get hurt like that but its a nice cushion for the Sox
