A source close to Brian McNamee told the New York Daily News that the trainer gave the Justice Department's BALCO investigators vials with traces of steroids and growth hormone, as well as blood-stained syringes and gauze pads that may contain Roger Clemens' DNA.
McNamee's lawyers wouldn't say that was the case, though they did say they had evidence linking Clemens to performance enhancers. "This is evidence the government has that we believe will corroborate Brian in every significant way," said McNamee lawyer Earl Ward.

Any good lawyer will prove that evidence from years ago is tainted. McNamee had access to Clemens for years, so it shouldn't be hard to prove that these needles that the DNA could have been planted in some way.

I mean, I'm sure these weren't handled by a crime lab ....Remember what they did to a real crime lab in the OJ case.....

Bingo!!! Why not just fire on big volley at the start. I've been hearing he has syringes and the stuff he shot him up with. Even if the needles have his DNA on them, is that rock solid proof that he used it on the Rocket.

Just seems shady to me. Clemens might wiggle out of this, because he just may be innocent.

This is like an old western movie, Clemens is is villain and McNamee is the guy chasing him down. The needles and gauzes are McNamee's gun and he is about to fire it at Clemens and shoot him straight to jail.

MLB gets a black eye, Clemens gets a black eye...McNamee is scum for keeping whatever the heck he thinks he's got...and only the lawyers make out...
