Cool Giambi

Just one year ago, so many of the local media - print, radio - everybody wanted the Yankees to cut Giambi off the team. The Yankees even asked him to go to the minors. He's been unbelievable since the 2nd half of last year..Does anyone know if the MLB steroid testing covers human growth hormone?

I like a good comeback story...It's nice to see him doing well...he leads the AL in homers with 12 (I think that's what I saw on ESPN this morning)...nice to see someone come back from the dead as it may...

Cool Re: Giambi

Bonds should take notice of how Giambi handled the steroids thing. He admitted he took them (without actually admitting it for legal purposes), apologized and then just kept his mouth shut. It makes it much easier to look the other way, when someone is likeable, instead of cranky and bitter all the time like Bonds.

Re: Giambi

No, I think Thome leads the AL with 14 homers... Yeah, Giambi is a very likeable guy, and he can really produce. He'll slump once in a while but when he's seeing the ball well, taking a lot of walks, and hitting balls out of the park, you know he's right on. If only he could field a little better...
