The Yankees and Robinson Cano have agreed to a four-year, $30 million contract with two option years, according to SI's Jon Heyman.
The option for 2012 is for $13 million and the option for 2013 is believed to be for about $15 million. Those would cover his first two years of free agency.

I would have signed him. Who out there can give them the type of production out of 2B that he does. His first year he hit .350+. He only hit over .300 this past season, but had a slow start. He was a monster the second half and one of the reasons they made the playoffs.
