Selig needs to stand up and say, what happened happened...now going forward this is what I will do for a violation and let it go at that...

No one is clean on this, not teams, players, or commish...so let it go and start with a clean slate.

what?? So theres not one person who is cleann in the mlb now?? c'mn, not everyone is doing it, I dont buy that at all, and sweeping it under the rug isnt gonna fix anything..

I will agree that there are (hopefully) a lot of clean players but .... how many clean players knew that "X" was doing it and said nothing and will say nothing now ?? Agreed they are not all dirty but they aren't all innocent either just because they didn't use.

You are reading too much into the sentence...read it again..as in, no segment of the game is clean...not there are no clean individuals...

i agree ...... if you rob several banks .. and i know from the start ... that doesnt make me a bank robber .. but im also not "clean" .. as i could turn you in and put a stop to it ...... instead i choose to turn a blind eye .. and some could say bank robbers in the world is as much my fault as yours

The majority of players adore guys like Bonds and Clemens. These guys are doing steroids for one reason and one reason only, to put money in their pockets and insure the security of their families for decades. With a motive like that, and with the unwritten rules of the sport, you are never going to have guys police themselves.

If they did steroids,I don't buy that it was all about the money. They already have enough money with contracts and endorsements that future generations will not have to worry. I think they had milestones they wanted to reach, and realized their bodies would not hold out long enough to reach them. This was pure vanity IMO.

Canseco is an expert so I tend to believe pretty much everything he says about who is using and who is not. But what about Manny?
