Yankees P Andy Pettitte used steroids, ESPN is reporting. He will be named in the Mitchell Report this afternoon. The source is apparently the Yankees fomer strength and conditioning coach - the same guy who fingered Clemens, according to an earlier report. Two names down... as many as 78 or more to go???

Oh boy, one ESPN article says it's going to be a "bad day in the Bronx." Supposedly, several more "prominent" Yankees will be named.

I just saw ESPN reports Clemens & Pettit are on the Mitchell report. Is anybody shocked?

im not suprised, when you have to give up names, why not give up the biggest names, u wont have to give up the rest, this steroid scandal isnt going to stop in the bronx, just like its previous stop in baltimore its everywhere, some people will get lucky and get away with it for awhile but eventually people are going to get pissed there names are there and others arent, lets see how the players union code of ethics plays out with eachother

McNamee said he injected Pettite with HGH on two to four occasions.

Pettite at the time was on the DL with an elbow injury and wanted to get back to help his team. That's when he contacted McNamee.
