Exclamation Yankees Vs. Red Sox...The Rivalry Continues In 2006

Disgusting. I mean the Yankees played with no heart last night against the Red Sucks. To beat the Sucks you have to score about 5 runs and pitch well, not allowing more than 3 runs...the Yanks did neither. I mean why do they even bother pitching to David Oritz anymore? Id just give him a base even if it means forcing in a run. You have to figure hes gonna produce at the plate anyway. Hey, no one ever pitched to Bonds when he was good. Too dangerous. Joe Torre should know these things, a dope like me shouldnt have to be saying them. Well at least I didnt have to look at Kevin Millar's ugly face!

You'll need a lot more than 5 runs to beat the Red Sox.

And did you see what Ortiz did last night? THAT is why he is more MVP-worthy than A-Rod will ever be.

You are absolutely right! Ortiz was incredible last night. He didn't try to do too much, just get runs home. He went the other way, he broke the shift, and homered in late innings. He is definitely making his case for the MVP award.

The reason the Yanks didn't win was because Joe Torre failed to bring up the set-up man in the 8th. It was a tie ballgame and Torre opted not to bring in Farnsworth who has been pitching so well of late! That would have at least given the Yanks a chance to win.

Right now I'm not sure if Alex Rodriguez is a potential MVP candidate. Sure, he may have great numbers down the past. But those numbers aren't with him now in the present. He better step up to the plate and get some big-time hits.

Well, I just hope he wins the Gold Glove, because he deserved it last year (and this year).

Rivalry? What rivalry? The 2006 Yankees are the worst Yankee team since the 1992 version. At least then they were rebuilding...now you can buy a small country with that dreadful payroll of washed up players. Ah! If only The Mets didnt have a pitcher hitting ala the NL. Id have a David Wright jersey on! Life is too short to watch bad baseball. As I see here in the second inning its Rangers 9 Yankees 0. CASE CLOSED!!!

Its impressive but you cant play softball every night which what youd have to do with The Big Used Up among other dead arms on the mound.
