A loaf of bread would have to cost $10,000 for his family not to be secure for the next five generations. he has until 10 days after the World Series to let the Yanks know if he is oipting out of his contract.

As legend said, ARod has 10 days after the conclusion of the World Series to officially decide whether to opt out or not.

It's obvious he will, but the question is whether or not the Yanks will be involved amongst the teams trying to sign him. They publicly say no, but only time will tell.
