| Ground ball to third and swing and a miss This is a typical turn thru the Yankee order lately- Damon- Strikes out Jeter- Singles Sheffield- Swings as hard as humanly possible and hits a two hopper to third for a double play Rodriguez- Takes a strike, swings at a ball in the dirt, swings and misses at a high fastball Giambi- Walks Matsui- Ground ball to second for a double play Posada- Fly ball to left Cano- Single Bernie- Strikes out on three pitches |

| Re: Ground ball to third and swing and a miss I have said it before and I will say it again. Sheffield comes up with more men on than anyone I can ever remember. A-Rod is having a tough time right now; I think he is pressing too hard with runners on and beginning to succumb to the NY pressure. I would be so happy if I could find a stat site that lists the number of men on base for hitters and how many they have left on. Sheffield has to lead the league in those categories. |
