Ok before you flame me let me finish. Yes clemens should of gotten suspended for 5 games, thats the rules. But it took the jays two games to successfully hit arod and yet their pitcher who injured arod got nothing, thats where selig is an idiot. Then towers left the mound to confront arod. To me selig in general not just cause of this is the worst commisoner in pro sports, and i really hit bettman, so thats saying alot

well merv i have to agree Selig is an idiot ...... and it is refreshing to hear a Yankee fan saying Clemens got what he deserved

and from the way it looks the Jays should have felt the wrath of the commish as well

i look at differntly, clemens will appeal, then take his start then take a 5 day rest not miss a start. Two i need a starting pitcher that will protect arod, moose and wang have shown in the past they wont. But with that said their is a cost to protect your players and clemens is feeling it. Im not saying clemens should go out and peg the bluejays next game, but if arod gets pegged again then he should protect him again

As goofy as Selig comes off, he has done lots of good things along during his tenure, along with being a puppet for the owners, but he would have a long way to go to catch the NHL commissioner for worst in pro sports.

what good things, turn his back to steroids? Throw his organzation under the bus to protect himself from congress cause he orginally ignored the fact people were using steroids in baseball, the brewers all star game. What has he done for baseball? The fact that he started revenue sharing, great now teams take the dodgers mets red sox and yankees money and dont add any salary, nice, now teams can use other peoples money to pay their contracts. Selig is a dope
