According to ESPNews, Alex Rodriguez has told the New York Yankees that he will not discuss the possibility of a contract extension until after the conclusion of the season.
Word yesterday was GM Brian Cashman was going to go against Yankee personal rules and try to negotiate with A-Rod and agent Scott Boras about a new extension.
At the end of the season, A-Rod has the chance to opt out of his current deal and become a free-agent.
It appears he can possibly cash in yet again to the tune of as much as $30 million per year. Yes, $30 Million per year.
