Alex Rodriguez left last night's game against Minnesota with a strained left hamstring. He's expected to go on the 15-day DL.

I sure don't think they can win much without him. Guess a lot of it depends on how long he's going to be out for.

Alex went for an MRI, but everything came back normal (HA, simon and LSC!) He'll probably DH in the upcoming Angels' series and sit out the All Star game ( ).

Ah, what are you gonna do, though. The Yankees need him healthy if they want to have any shot to pull off a second-half comeback and sneak into the postseason. As nice as it'd be to see him play in the Midsummer Classic, it just wouldn't make sense, priority wise.
