In reality I do wish him well although I believe the odds are stacked against him. As long as he falters against the Red Sox I'm OK with some success.

Boy, I would love to do some trash talking, but sadly, you're probably right. The Bucs are one of the worst hitting teams in baseball, and historically they've done very poorly against the Rocket. That does not bode well for today's game. I just hope Clemens is really as bad as he looked in those minor league outings.

He has not been sharp. A better hitting team probably would've knocked him out of the game already.

A nice solid outing by Clemens... He wasn't that sharp at first, but retired the last seven batters he faced. This was the first time Clemens has faced a major league team in 9 months, so the 6 innings and two walks are impressive. The Rocket had a very good splitter and kept most of his pitches down in the strike zone.

Fifteen more starts like this, and Clemens will have a bunch of wins this year.
