| Giambi out 3 weeks According to Sportsticker reports, which quotes MLB.com as a source, " New York designated hitter Jason Giambi will be sidelined at least three weeks after being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and a partial tear of his plantar fascia... The injury, which affects the band of tissue connecting the heel to the toes, was discovered after an examination by Dr. William Hamilton, an orthopedic foot and ankle specialist." Another blow for the Yankees. He's expected to go on the DL Friday. Who replaces him on the roster?

| Re: Giambi out 3 weeks You almost have to believe that the 2nd half will be better. Get some pitching and a healthy field roster and they just may be back in business .. if they can stay healthy and aren't completely out of reach of a wild card. |
