Do you think Barry Bonds will take a page from Giambi's book, and fess up? (Obviously, a very rhetorical question). |

| Re: Giambi admits steroid use Hmm, from what I heard on ESPN, he did say steroids but only in reference to the league in general, not to himself. I agree with Empire that he was probably scared straight, though the fact that he says it didn't really work for him undoubtedly played a role as well. Great comment in defense of Bonds as well: "If it were that easy, how come you don't see anyone else doing what he has done?" He has a very valid point there.

| Re: Giambi admits steroid use We will never know the impact steroids actually have or had on a player's preformance. Did it help a guy with a great batting eye like Bonds hit the ball further? Who knows. I applaud Giambi for at least speaking out on the subject when he could stay mum like almost everyone else. Who is to say that any of us, faced with that decision to be able to make MILLIONS of dollars if our numbers were gaudy enough, would not do the same. I can't say that I wouldn't, especially if I knew many others were. As a matter of fact, I am probably leaning towards saying I would have.
