Joe Torre isn't even out the door (yet) as manager of the New York Yankees, but according to the Chicago Tribune, his replacement has already been found. "So it is that manager Joe Torre is rumored to be on his way out, that announcer and former right-hand man Joe Girardi may be in," the newspaper is reporting today. So if this move is to happen, when should we expect it to be made?

It's long been rumored for months...in fact, from the moment Girardi signed on, he was thought to be the replacement for Joe whenever it would be made. I doubt Joe gets the axe during the season, he deserves better. Girardi will probably get the title after the season.
