"The question was posed to Brian Cashman as a sort of joke in the gloom of the visitors' clubhouse yesterday after a game as predictable as any Yankees-Red Sox encounter ever gets." ESPN is among the many, many other media outlets discussing how badly the Yankees need the Rocket. Everyone and their mother seems to think it's only a matter of time before Roger dons the Pinstripes again.

So, does it happen, and if so, when?

I'd rather go with these kids than sign Clemens if he is going to be allowed to dictate the rules of when and where he pitches.

Clemens already has a ring, Hes made it a fact that his family comes before anything, He'll go with the equal balance and pitch again and it will prob be with the astros. I do agree he will wait till june to announce his plans though..

i dont see why people are in a state of panic. How many aprils in the last 10 years have the yankees looked horrible. They are never truly and april team besides mike mussina. Theyll be fine wang comes back tommorow, mussina doesnt usually get hurt that often so he should be fine and igewa looks promising, kartsten hasnt been bad and pavano is a flip of a coin. No rash moves needs to be made. I just think chase right shows the yanks minors arent as deep as theyd like.

your not going to see hughes up for as an emergencey starter while someone is on the dl. If cashman decided to bring him up, he has to belive that he is up for the entire year

I'm sure that he is better than Carl Pavano. Would you mind bringing up some youth in, and sending Pavano down? Unfortunately, Steinbrenner desires to get his money's worth in his contract.
