Where to begin? Mike Myers is perhaps the worst lefty on lefty specialist at any level of baseball. Ortiz owns him, but Torre brings him in, taking Proctor out who had pitched to just 2 batters in the seventh, to allow a double. Viscaiano( I don't even care if I spell his name wrong),has absolutely nothing on the ball. Rivera looked like he had no clue, but then tells the media that he wouldn't take back a single pitch. Torre made more bad moves ion this one game than most managers could in a month.

He removed Giambi for a pinch runner, with the situation a man on first and one out, and of course his spot came up in the ninth inning with Kevin Thompson now in it. He took out Proctor, he has Mike Myers on his roster, and didn't make it out of April before breaking his promise to use Rivera in just the ninth inning.

Johnny Damon used to foul off about six pitches when he was with Boston before hitting the ball hard somewhere, but now he just bounces out to second or strikes out. Melky Cabrera is a Punch and Judy hitter, and that's an insult to Punch and Judy. Cannot say enough about A-Rod, but isn't it ironic that now that he is doing this, the rest of the team is gagging.

Pettitte has now lost two sure wins in his last 2 outings.
