So, what can we take from this performance? Is Pavano back?

I think the expectations are so low, he'll probably do okay. Remember, before all of this stuff happened to him, he was a pretty good pitcher.

Mussina should keep his mouth shut until he gets on track. I still have a problem with a guy turning down an Opening Day assingment because it screws with his "schedule".

its seem likes years since he won(cue chessey rims hot) but that was a good performance if he can stay healthy he will be a great 4th starter but i hope the yanks dont have to rely on him winning 17+ games
