| The whole thing is sort of funny. No matter what A-Rod does in the regular season, he'll get abused. Just to give you an idea of what the guy goes through, this was in Tuesday's Newsday: Quote:

A-Rod should post it over his locker...the man will hit the 800 homer mark and still be hated. |

| Re: A-Rod booed already Last night, up he comes with the bases loaded and the game on the line. Pops up to second base. It just seems like these spots always find him coming to the plate. Now the Yankees lost last night because they didn't pitch or catch the ball, but most fans will focus on A-Rod's failure in the big spot, fairly or not. Yankee fans want him to succeed, but every one of them have a limit to thier patience.

| Re: A-Rod booed already Yankee fans look at A-Rod and they see failure to come up in big spots. Like last night for example, down by a run with bases loaded and two outs. What does he do? He grounds out. He's pissed but they boo him anyway. He's not going to be a Yankee next year, that's one guarantee that's not hard to make. |

And Legend is correct about A-Rod. It's funny to watch. Bases juiced and he pops up, when they need him to hit. But up 7-5...crack - homer. |

| Re: A-Rod booed already A-Rod is going to have some company in the booing department I predict. Abreu rarely came up big when the Phillies needed him, but he will be up in some huge spots this year now that Sheffield is gone. Remeber, before A-Rod came up last night to pop out, Abreu tapped back to the pitcher. |
