Johnson having to grow up? Thats a tall order at age 43. Usually when people are that much of an a**hole at that age it sticks. Bottom line is the Yankees arent going to the playoffs unless they can revamp their entire pitching staff mid-season which is about as realistic as shooting laser beams out of your eyes. Does anyone think this old, injury prone team of has beens is going (or limping) to the playoffs? I dont mean a Yankee fan supporting their team, the media is convinced (as is most resonable fans) that this year the Yankees will be watching the Mets from their homes in the playoffs and making some noise. I guess the guys in Queens learned from signing Alomars and Vaughns. Lets hope that several years down the road when these old men that populate the Yankees lineup finally retire that Cashman stops taking in every 39 year old player who is coming to the Yankees to win a world series which is horsemanure anyway, their coming cuz Steinbrenner gives riduculous money to ridiculous players like the old unit.
