Cool Biggest Yankee busts of the last 25 years

Since 1980 to present who would you say were the all time Yankee busts. Guys that came to NY with a big contract and/or high expectations and just didn't perform. Here are some pitchers:

Staff:
1) Ed Whitson (Could only pitch on the road)
2) Steve Trout ( As soon as he came to the Yankees he couldn't throw the ball over the plate.
3) Kenny Rogers - the bigger the game the more scared he got.
4) Rick Rhoden - Yanks traded Doug Drabek to get him. Eek.
5) Dale Murray - Yanks traded Fred McGriff to get him..

Bullpen: Felix Heredia - never got anyone out. Joe Torre was obsessed with using him for some odd reason.

Manager: Stump Merrill....How could the Yankees hire anybody who not only called himself Stump but looked like one as well.

Position Players: I'll start off with one:

Steve Kemp: Was never the same player as he was in Detroit.
Who else?

Kevin Brown tops them all! Moderately large salary.....and the guy could not get a win no matter what... But even worse was that every time the Yankees needed him most, he hurt his arm or was "fatigued"....

Re: Biggest Yankee busts of the last 25 years

Matt Nokes, the Tiger catcher
Ruben Sierra the first time around
Dave Collins from the Reds
Roy Smalley from the Twins
Butch Wynegar from the Twins
KEN PHELPS from Seattle-Ouch-for Jay Buhner, although I doubt Buhner would have blossomed in NY
Kevin Maas-lived off of one year
Hensley Meulens- a rare home grown bust
Danny Tartabull- need I go on?

Good one! Maas is another good choice for biggest bust. He had some monster hype behind him when he jacked 21 in only 250 AB's his rookie year.

You forgot Dave Collins ...came from the Reds after stealing 79 bases and hitting .300 ...was going to be their leadoff man....and poof...nothing...than he goes to Toronto...15 triples and 60 stolen bases...

Oh how could I forget Ken Phelps for Jay Buhner?
I overlooked Kevin Brown too.

Here's a few more:

Position players: Omar Moreno, Toby Harrah, Dale Berra, Ron Kittle, Stanley Jefferson (was supposed to be the second coming), Rupert Jones.

Pitchers: Greg Cadaret, Neil Allen, Charles Hudson, Jimmy Jones, Lance McCullers, Eric Plunk, Rich Dotson and John Candeleria.
