Is Bernie Williams a Hall of Famer?

If he has indeed played his last game, then there will be discussion along these lines. I for one do not think he is even close. Anyone else share that belief or care to argue it?

Cool Re: Is Bernie Williams a Hall of Famer?

No argument. A very good, class, clutch player but certainly not a Hall of Famer.

Re: Is Bernie Williams a Hall of Famer?

He falls short...solid post season stats, 4 gold gloves, 5 or 6 All-Star games a batting title and 2,330 career hits...a bit outside the lines...good guy...just not enough

Re: Is Bernie Williams a Hall of Famer?

I agree with you guys, he was a great player but not quite in that Hall of Fame class. I would take Bernie in his prime on my team any day of the week but he won't get in.

Re: Is Bernie Williams a Hall of Famer?

Sadly, no. He had a very solid career and was a key player at times, but will never be considered one of the game's legends.
