| Bernie Williams leaving Yankees According to the Associated Press, "Bernie Williams plans to decline the New York Yankees' offer to attend spring training on a minor league contract, the outfielder told reporters Friday night before playing guitar at a benefit concert... Williams added that he's been working out, but it doesn't appear as though he'll be playing with the Yankees this year." So does Williams play elsewhere next season, or does he hang 'em up?

| Re: Bernie Williams leaving Yankees I hope he takes the hint and hangs em up. He cannot possibly need the money. Get out with everything about your legacy still intact and then leave it up to guys and gals like us to debate whether he is Hall of Fame material. |

| Re: Bernie Williams leaving Yankees As soon as someone dangles a multi-million dollar contract in front of him he'll be right there. According to sporting standards today you can never have too much money. Besides all that he might be the right fit for someone. |
