| Re: Suggestions for Torre Torre has made only two big moves from the bench in the first two games of this series. - a hit-and-run with Abreu batting result: Abreu swung through the pitch and Jeter was picked off - pull Wang in the 7th, replacing him with Myers result: Myers alows a homer to the only batter he faces So, Torre hasn't been very good so far in this postseason. I absolutely agree with you, though, that he needs to make some moves tonight. |

| Re: Suggestions for Torre I like the idea of Sheffied sitting. Matsui hit well yesterday though and I want to see him in the lineup. Why Torre pulled Wang to bring in Mike Myers is beyond the scope of my comprehension, it almost cost them big time. It's as if he makes moves sometimes for the sake of making them.

| Re: Suggestions for Torre Maybe Joe Torre should come visit our Forum for advice. He obviously doesn't know what is going on in his organization. Sometimes, don't you feel that you could be paid those big bucks for doing a better job? |

| Re: Suggestions for Torre I have never seen a guy happier to be hit by a pitch than A-Rod was tonight, when he had, of course, two strikes on him. "The best line-up ever" could not hit one of the biggest chokers in modern sports history. This isn't even the best Yankee line-up ever, I can think of three teams I would rather send up there. |

| Re: Suggestions for Torre Quote:
A-Rod will bat 8th tonight. Sheffield plays first while Giambi is on the bench. Torre is trying anything to get the offense sparked. |
