Re: Markus Naslund signs with the blue shirts

AHH! My husband just told me as I came back from freaking grocery shopping.
Damn those menial tasks.
So the thought was that vancouver wanted Sundin because they wanted naslund gone.
Sundin is still "thinking it over" so every team seems to be making different offers - seems the Red Wings and New York R. won't want the Swede anymore, they already got their stars.
Wow I've only ever known naslund as a Canuck. They must have been fed up.

i don't follow the Canucks to much, is there a reason why the Canucks would be fed up with him?

Re: Markus Naslund signs with the blue shirts

I guess because they never really ever got close.
Naslund scored 25 goals and added 30 assists last season - so what's so bad about that? But I think there was never a feeling that he would lead them there.
He was in Vancouver for 12 seasons - eight as captain.
It's always sort of nasty when the captain gets dumped.
They say this means Jagr's career with the rangers is done.

sather stated during the naslund press conference, that jagr would not be brought back. now i dont know if thats a "you want to much money get real" or "no seriously we dont want you go away"

Re: Markus Naslund signs with the blue shirts

Oh come on!!! Look at that, a team that needs barely any improvement and they get LOADED with good players.
Naslund?
Kalinin was a dumb choice that will damage them.
