this is is a good game but i am getting sick and tired of the refs, it goes both ways, some times there just letting them play, then other times they are calling the very ticky tack penalties. Also Brodeur is the biggest flopper ever.

I think the Rangers are targeting Brodeur. I'm all for going after a goalie if he goes after you first, but the sliding into Brodeur by Avery i didn't buy as something that was out of his control.
Brodeur needs the defencemen he used to have in Daneyko and Stevens - these defencemen now need to knock the blocks off the rangers every time they come around.
Incidentally, I heard that both valiquette and Lundqvist weighed in on the Avery situation. Valiquette said he thought it was dirty and Lundqvist said he thought the screening was a great idea.
Right. I'd like to see someone try it with Lundqvist, then ask him how "great" he thinks it is.

blue normally i usually agree with you 100 percent, but on this avery subject your taking it a lil far IMO, his edges were dug in driving to the net the defense men dove and took him out by the legs( a smart penalty on the defense men) Avery fell in the direction his body was going(to the net). If he didn't lose his balance it wouldn't of been a penalty. Brodeur just took the brunt force of the impact cause of it.
Also Marty comes out of his net and he enters the line the other player is taking so he can get the goalie interference. Even the announcers were calling him out, i don't know if you had cbc announcers or Versus. He flopped when Jagr went by the net, let me tell you Jagr always drives hard to the net, and he acted like he got ran over by colton orr

I'll go with you on this one, then. I was just watching images, so i didn't hear the announcers talking about the brodeur/avery thing, and you saw it - I'm avery paranoid now.
