Re: sabres up 2-1 after rangers ot win this loss for Buffalo snapped a six-game winning streak vs. the Rangers, plus the five-game run vs. the Islanders and Rangers. 46 shots for NY to 39, good and close - and wow, in 2nd OT. nhl.com says this was the ranger's longest game since April 29, 1971 - then Pete Stemkowski scored in triple overtime to beat Chicago. Lots of OT's this playoff season. I like it. Except, not when the team i like loses. There will be no sweeps this round.

Re: sabres up 2-1 after rangers ot win also disappointed, but i didnt even see it! i just had a feeling that the sabres would give the rangers a game, mayb just to make it a series, mayb cuz theyre worn down, i dont know but i do know that this is not gonna b the start of a rangers winning streak buffalo is gonna come back and kick *** they dont just let teams run them over...they were the ones who won the presidents trophy, so shouldnt that mean something? im not too worried. the sabres will b fine. on another note, i like how buffalo is getting more physical...and no1 thought they were zubrus and kotalik are POWERHOUSES id b scared stiff if i was on the same ice as them anyway, lets just hope that this loss doesnt get to the sabres heads, that its just a loss and everyone loses at some point, and they move on from here

Re: sabres up 2-1 after rangers ot win im just glad this is becoming a competitive matchup, did any of you guys read the article from hradek on espn. Talking about it didnt matter if the sabres or rangers won, the nhl just needed them both to put a show on, since no sport was realing in their time slot. I think they both did a good job, but the rangers have to be ready to stop the sabs in the first period tommorow im sure they will come out flying
