i am so sick and tired of this chech line, it plays this "cute lil game" all they do is lil passes cycle cycle cycle more passing more passing and never even shoot the pucks inside the shooting triangle or even with open shots, and how you ask have the rangers been scoring, throwing the puck at the net like thomas pock did today against the bruins, and king henrik playing like a sweedish god. Jagr has had one good year since pitt, and id love to see them get rid of jagr this off season, he is not a leader, nor a follower. Plus i feel if the rangers get rid of jagr staka and nylander would go and i wouldnt mind that, im ok with the style, they keep possesion of the puck for a while but they havent led any of the lines in scoring chances at all of late. Arod is more clutch then this guy. nor do they get the puck on net for second chances

Oh please...he was a leader last year...when they finally open the ice up, and people could not clutch and grab and keep him from playing the one on one hockey is does better than 95% of the league.

The real question is what is wrong with New York fans?...all I read on this site is how much Jagr, Eli and A-Rod and the Knicks suck (of course the Knicks do suck)...maybe the problem is not the players...maybe the problem is New York fans...they expect a standard of play from their players...all the while failing to meet the lowest standard of fan loyality this side of Philly.

eh ive admiited to eating my words with isiah, but lets be honest no one defended him, with arod i havent bashed him at all ive always stated his postives , and ive said very little bad things to eli. And i belive ive been the only one bashing jagr up and down on these boards lol. He was a goal scorer last year, jagr has never and will never be a leader. Ill give ya the fact when jagr wants to play he is a top ten player in the nhl, but id rather have the guy that plays every year then the one decides which year he will use his talent. Jagr has two moves, in the offensive zone and teams no them thats why he sucks this year, its the fake to the boards then to the forehand to the high slot and snap shot, and if thats not there he skates behind then net for a failed wrap around

i would like to see dieptro healthy, i think when those two goalies go head to head against eachother they put a good show on for everyone who is watching should be a godo game again. But i also think hulldweg needs to stop boarding people or it could escalate yet again

Gotham's got a soft spot for jagr. I know what you mean, re he chooses when to play at his peak and when he doesn't feel like it, the team suffers. I wouldn't want yashin but (and I know a ton of leaf fans would disagree with me) I wouldn't want jagr either. disruptive, arrogant and there is no I in team, you know?

i dont need the guy with the most talent. I just need a guy who works hard performs to his best every night, and can rally a team in the locker room and on the ice. Jagr is not that guy everynight, sometimes yes, but mostly no. However will he be that guy next year unfourtantly yes since its his contract yr so the rangers will prob sign him to an extension yay
