Rangers over Hurricanes

Even though the Rangers kept the Hurricanes to a period without a shot, the Rangers still couldn't get past Gerber. It's time to start taking Carolina seriously. A great defense in the Rangers met a greater defense in the Hurricanes. Are the Rangers gonna be able to get past these 'Canes or is the only hope for the Rangers to get to the playoffs in "who knows how many years" going to be spoiled by a new franchise?

Re: Rangers over Hurricanes

Well, the Rangers ARE going to get to the playoffs - it's fairly impossible for that not to happen.

But Carolina is definitely for real, even without Eric Cole. THAT is a scary thought.

Wow, Gerber was amazing. He looked unstoppable in the second half of the game. At least it's not playoff time just yet

Re: Rangers over Hurricanes

but jagr getting keyed on and the whole team unsuccessfully facing the trap these last two games scares me a little bit.

Hi, boo. Welcome to GoTeamsGo, and thanks for joining us here on the hockey forums! What do you think the team can do to try and get the pressure off of Jagr a little bit? Change up their lines a bit, maybe?

Re: Rangers over Hurricanes

City,
Thanks for alerting me to my little typo. Youre right it would be impossible for the Rangers not to make the playoffs. What I meant was "the finals". It just seems hard to accept for Rangers fans to be spoiled by a franchise team.
