As much as it would be great to see the orginals stay the orginal six have altered their uniforms a decent bit over the years

Its not like the yankees who have only added numbers to the back and stripes when to make babe ruth look less fat

Actually it was only the Flyers who wore pants and Gretzky never fully tucked in his jersey half of it was out and later on in his career he did not continue doing it. However, this is not just tucking jerseys in pants. The whole uniform design is going to be altered. In fact the NY Rangers will not have the traditional "RANGERS" across their jerseys anymore. Adding numbers to the Yankees uniform is one thing but altering the entire uniform and emblem of all the Original six teams of the NHL and the thirty other teams is ridiculous. Wait until the All-Star Game when they showcase the new uniforms then you can tell me how ridiculous I am. Just in case you don't know what these uniforms are exactly remember Team USA and Team Canada jerseys at the Olympics it is going to be exactly like that style.

Re: ban form-fitting uniforms from the NHL

i was talking about travel hockey, not the nhl teams

second can you name me an orginal six who havent altered their jersey's at any point?

The bruins, rangers, leafs, candians, blackhawks def have. But i belive the red wings for the most part are the same, the bruins have def changed the b over the course, the candians have changed the style of the jersey just kept their symbol. The blackhawks have changed color schemes, the leafs have changed the style of their logo and the rangers use to use the jersey that had their logo on the chest instead of rangers going down from top to left.

All im saying is in hockey i dont think it will be a big deal

Also this shoulc cause less clutching and grabbing unless ur using your stick.

Welcome to GoTeamsGo Wassinator. Actually, I'm more cranky that the teams wear dark colors at home. I like the white at home.

Re: ban form-fitting uniforms from the NHL

Just talking about that on the weekend - the red wings have made some changes but tiny changes-nothing to alter the logo, definitely - same with the habs (except for those new shirts they have, more blue and white then re -don't like those cause the habs just about have the best shirts ever).

i think the rangers should always wear blue at homem since that was their orginal jersey. remember when the rangers would open up at the garden before this jersey change, they always opened with their away jerseys at home. AS a kid it always confused me cause i always thought they were on the road lol, but still they should always wear blue at home
