The Pennslyvania teams are very good with stars on both especially the Penguins but where is the Ranger defenseman's heads lately? I know how great Crosby is and what a tough loss tonights Rangers-Penguins game is but why isn't the defense getting to rebounds and clearing them from the crease? Why are forwards skating seemingly unchallenged past the blue line? I mean Lundqvist is great but he cant beat 3 guys on him. Matt Cullen scored a goal but the Rangers defensive postioning and reactions must improve because their scoring is fine although the power play is a bit numb I feel it'll come around. I know scoring is up throughout the NHL but the blueshirts are at fault for committing fundamental mistakes. They must correct them even if it is early in the season. No improvement from tuesday. Needless to say turnovers and penalties are huge problems that need correcting also.
