Re: Carlos Beltran HR and RBI Records He is a sensational lead-off hitter with unexpected power that can unleash itself anytime. You can consider him an all-around player since he is a decent fielder with speedy legs. Are we allowed to compare him to the franchised, Derek Jeter? I dare to say that he is a relatively better type of athlete.

Re: Carlos Beltran HR and RBI Records This is really a surprise. Carlos Beltran only hit like 19 per year with the Royals! But he was the Rookie of the Year in like '00 or something like that. Not such an instant impact but has made a reputation for himself.

Re: Carlos Beltran HR and RBI Records He hit his 39th home run in the first inning tonight in Colorado. He has new career highs in both home runs and RBIs (it was a solo shot). He's the definition of a true five-tool player. Especially since he's gotten his average up (now in the .280s), he can run, field, hit for power, and throw.
