Your voice means something, here at the GoTeamsGo Fan Forum. Dwight Gooden was an unbelievable pitcher at such a young age. He had a splendid career with excellent statistics to go along with his strong arm. I remember when he was 21-years old and a magnificent rookie will a large future ahead of him. It is too bad that he became addicted to drugs and ruined his life. Not all stories are fairy tales! |

| Re: Forgotten Mets Well they spoke about him with Darryl Strawberry during the game but nothing besides that. It's not like they purposely left him out, they didn't mention Davey Johnson or Ray Knight or Roger McDowell since they couldn't be there. |
