The Mets signed Jose Reyes to a 4 year, 22 million dollar contract. While I'm not saying we should take up a collection for Reyes, I believe this deal is a steal for the Mets. In arbitration he could have made at least that. He could have done much better. I was thinking 5 for 45 million is more like it.

Reyes would've went to arbitration after this season. He could've/should've signed a deal for at least $40 Mil, he's one of the best shortstops in the NL. The deal also includes an option for a 5th year.
