Re: New York Mets Home/Road #s Thanks for sharing those insightful statistics with us, EmpireWF. I guess Mets fan should watch them on the road, instead of at home. But what is the fun if Mr. Met can't dance around the field between innings? I think it is an even split considering Mr. Met! Here is my effort of adding some statistics: Mets at Home:20-13 Mets on the Road:23-12 Those are pretty close. What can I say, the Mets are just incredible these days!

Shea is a terrible hitters park. It would help to see what some opposing batters do in Shea vs. other parks. Although it is a smaller sample, there are probably some NL East players who have a lot of at-bats at Shea.

Re: New York Mets Home/Road #s Pat Burrell is just an incredible athlete when he participates in a game against the New York Mets. So far this season against the Mets, Burrell composed an ERA well over .350 with 4 homeruns and 8 RBIs in only 27 mere at-bats. But in only 10 at-bats in Shea Stadium, he collected 3 RBIs and one homer giving him an ERA just at .400. For the Cincinatti Reds, they lead the Major League Baseball in homeruns. Their 103 homeruns to date, goes along with their top third RBI-total compared to the rest of the teams in the National League. They aren't such a bad club (batting-wise) after all.
