Is Alay Soler a promising prospect for the Mets' organization, or is he just a replacement player?

The thing I like most about Alay Soler is the fact that he's pitched in tremendously pressurized situations before. He was one of the top pitchers for the Cuban National Team and obviously, there were lots of things riding on those games. He seems to be able to handle NY and along with El Duque, we may have enough arms to go come playoff time.

I think he is very promising. He is adjusting well and has some good veterans on the team to help him along the way.
