Mets P Billy Wagner has been named as the team's representative in the 2008 MLB All-Star Game. So, good selection?

Wagner has been one of the top closers to this point in MLB with 19 saves and should be considered. David Wright was not considered? He has been on fire lately:

Jul 3 Wright went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in the Mets' 8-7 loss to St. Louis on Wednesday.
Advice: It was the second consecutive three-hit game for Wright, who's 15-for-29 (.517) with four homers, nine RBIs and eight runs scored in his last eight games.

I think these are all-star stats and currently hitting .288, 16 HR and 66 RBI's with 9 stolen bases...is there a better 3rd basemen?

Wright is one of the guys up for the final roster spot. You can go to MLB.com I think and vote for him.

Im sorry but I have trouble agreeing with the decision to put Wagner in the all-star game. He has blown some saves this year and I just do not agree.
