| Mets claim 1B Andy Phillips The New York Mets have claimed 1B Andy Phillips off waivers from the Cincinnati Reds. According to Pa. Sportsticker, "Phillips hit just .143 (3-for-21) with four RBI in 15 games with Cincinnati before being designated for assignment on Sunday. Phillips had been hitless in his last 10 at-bats...
