Delgado is not exactly the hottest hitter on the Mets. At this point, he's hitting barely over .200 and has just one home run. At the NY Post blog, they suggest the Mets will either have to limit Delgado's ABs during the year or flat out cut him (Frank Thomas style).

The problem I see though is he is owed a ton of money (I believe about $16 million). Needless to say, this is going to be his final year with the Mets. The point is, will the Mets find a new first baseman this year or gut it out with Delgado?
