There's a rumor that the Mets may trade OF Angel Pagan (who's having one hell of a spring) to Boston for OF Coco Crisp.

Question is why? Crisp is a gd glove, no power CF. Beltran already there. Yes Church got hurt and so did Alou, but Pagan is having a good spring. No reason with the Mutts line-up that he can not spell Alou and Church. Plus they have Endy "Boomer" Chavez in the mix. Don't see how this helps them. If they want a spare OF, call up the Angels, they have Rivera and Willets who are better hitters.
