The Mets have completed their catcher search over the past 12 hours with the official signings of Yorvit Torrealba and now, Ramon Castro.
Castro signed a two-year deal for $4 million and is expected to split time with Torrealba.
Speaking about Torrealba, Ramon said "I saw him at the end. He was playing great, great defense. He was hitting. He likes to win. Between me and him, I think we're going to do good."
Mets eye Yorvit Torrealba as Ramon Castro stays
Good signing. And for only $2 mil per, that's a steal compared to expectations on what he could make on the market.
